How much does a system cost?

Most systems cost approximately $600 installed and tuned to your particular vehicle. Some are more, depending on complexity of install. Prices to purchase a unit to install yourself will be posted on the products page as soon as available.

What does your system consist of?

For one thing, there are NO multiple glass or plastic fuel cells! Please make note of this. Anyone telling you that you need to cram multiple "jars" or cells under the hood is, well...not very educated. We give them credit for trying, but to charge someone for a shoddy backyard HHO generator is pathetic. Honestly now, JARS? Please. We make professional grade generators that are encased on ONE module. Anything other than that is amateur. If you can build that yourself, then why buy a kit? It makes no sense. We offer one generator that produces a high output of HHO safely. There's no way we'd be driving our work truck around with a bunch of jars in it, nor would we sell that garbage to our clients. (pictured at right is the only thing that goes under the hood besides the Gauge. Bubbler is optional)

A client sent us a link to a shop in Mesa, AZ and on the site were numerous misspellings and repeatedly used the word "waist" for "waste". Ever seen the show "Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?" Case in point...if someone cannot spell and is selling a bunch of plastic chambers as HHO generators, then I'd be careful about what I purchased and who was doing the intstall. You're in Arizona and I live too far away. Any plans on franchising?

Always a possibility, but for right now we're here and have a steady stream of clientele. Any new locations will be posted on this site, as well as HHO Generators that we'll manufacture for specific vehicles. We want to make sure that a generator will be easy for you to install and will fit properly. Email us with questions and inquiries.

Can you direct me to other HHO installers?

While we can't really "certify" an installer, we're working on a national (and perhaps international) network of installers that you can call and hire at your own risk. Since we can't quiz and test each installer, it'll be up to you to hire who you trust. Eventually we may have a certified installer for our products, but til then, we'd like to compile a list of general installers for you to choose from. Since this is a relatively new industry, we all need to work together to asssist one another in any way we can. Can you certify installers for your product?

Once our final designs are out, Water Car AZ plans to offer a mechanic's quiz, that will test whether the installer knows enough about vehicles, science and electrical to safely perform an install. We can then certify installers for our product and refer business to them in their city and state. If you are interested in this, drop a note on our contact form and we'll keep you on our update list.

How much money will this save me on gas?

Our data suggests anywhere from 20% to 80% increase in fuel efficiency (some even more). This equates to example: You spend $100 for gas per week at 20%, you'll save $20 per week. Consequently at 80%, you'll save $80 per week. Over a year's time this is a substantial savings on fuel no matter how gas prices fluctuate.

What's going to be installed in my car? I don't want a lot of tampering with my vehicle!

A hydrogen generating module that will be custom made to fit under the hood. Inside the vehicle, we install a kill-switch, so you can decide when you want to use HHO. Nothing else is installed in the vehicle, so there are no worries of the unit interfering with the running of your car.

What about Vehicle Emissions tests?

Your vehicle will actually run cleaner. When you go to emissions, you'll simply hit the kill switch and let the emissions tech perform the test. We have older model vehicles that pass perfectly.

How easy is it to maintain?

It is very easy. We provide an operator's manual with general instructions, as well as we coach you on the operation of the device. All that's really needed, is to keep the water level topped off. For colder weather, you'd add some alcohol to the mix, which is all covered in the Manual. We have installed HHO generators for people who consider themselves totally "non-technical" and they have no problem maintaining the system.

Can I turn the device off if I don't want to use it?

Yes. We provide a switch that will act as a complete over-ride of the system, so that your vehicle is back to running only on gas.

If this is under the hood, will it be in my mechanic's way if he needs to do other repairs?

It depends on the vehicle, but mostly we keep the unit out of the way of all other components. We are constantly working on more compact designs, but again, it really depends on make/model of the vehicle.

What about any warranty I have on my car. Will this install void my warranty?

As a rule NO, yet dealers can be shady, so this will be up to your car dealer. Check with them first. We are not tampering with the engine or its operation. We are simply enriching the fuel mixture with hydrogen, and your computer can self-adjust. Either way, you can turn the system off completely if need be. If your dealership doesn't know what HHO is, they can call and ask us questions directly.

What if I sell my car and the new owner doesn't want the system?

It can easily be removed. Now if you wish to place that module in your new car, it's going to depend on if it can fit under the hood. You may find that buyers may view your car as more valuable with that system installed. Again, we give you the owner's manual that you can pass along. The car's new owner can always call us with questions.

How do I know if your'e a reputable and stable company? What do I do if you go out of business?

We have been in the valley for 20 years, we run several companies and will be applying for government grants to further improve our systems. Most times you can reach us 7 days a week. If we're with a client, your call will be returned as soon as we're free. Our companies are in this for the long-haul.

What are your hours?

We set appointments to YOUR schedule. By phone, it's best to call between 10am and 8pm, MST Arizona time. Either way, we call back promptly.

Can this be used on both gas and diesel?

Yes it can. It works on any internal combustion engine.

Can this be used on motorcycles?

Yes.

Is this system noisy?

No. The unit is encased in heavy duty plastic. There are no motors or moving parts to make noise or break.

How often do I have to check the water level in the unit?

Check it about every 100 miles, just to be sure. If you let the water go down too far, all you may need to add in addition to water is just plain baking soda that you probably have in your kitchen.

Hydrogen is flammable. How safe is this system?

Our systems are designed to run only when the engine is on. When the engine is running, it utilizes the hydrogen. There is no build up of hydrogen, it only produces what it can use. This is why we call it a "hydrogen on-demand" system.

What if I buy a kit elsewhere, will you install it?

We will be happy to "test" your kit for safety and efficiency, but we don't install other manufacturer's products due to liability. Our HHO generators are tested and proven, and we will educate you on their safe operation. Hydrogen is very explosive and this is not something that should be handled by someone without adequate training.

I've seen really cheap kits on line, or do-it-yourself plans, how are yours different?

Ours are custom designed, proven to work and are actually installed and tuned to your vehicle. When we do offer products, they'll be manufactured to fit certain vehicles.

Why is tuning so important?

Too little electrolyte and your generator will do nothing to help you - too much, and your generator will put a strain on your charging system, or even catch fire. Every vehicle is different. We can also help you select a fuel monitoring system if you would like one.

I've seen many hokey ads on the internet and it seems like everyone's trying to sell kits and make videos. How are you different?

We actually understand the science behind our design and have created a more "elegant" type of HHO generator than what you see on the market. We have over 20 years of mobile electronics and electrical / mechanical experience. Our own company vehicles are running on our systems.

Will you sell me one of your systems so I can install it myself?

COMING SOON! Check back for generators fitted to your make/model vehicle. Right now we are custom building for each vehicle and we want to be sure our system works according to our specifications. As soon as we have generators for your vehicle, we'll post info.

Will you sell me the plans to build one of your generators?

We don't sell plans for kits, since we custom build to each make/model vehicle. Also, due to patents, grants and investors, we aren't at liberty to sell our designs.

Can I invest in your company?

If you are looking to invest in the company, we'll be putting together a portfolio in the near future. This is a great market sector to jump into, since we've all seen the need to rely less on fossil fuels. The price of oil will continue to fluxuate, so we're trying to stay on the cutting-edge of what is actually realistic and "do-able" at this point, with the vehicles we already have.

Is Hydrogen legal?

Yes, it is not an after-market automotive part. It does not modify, tamper with or defeat the emission control system in any way. It is not defined as a "device, apparatus or mechanism intended for use with, or as a part of any required motor vehicle pollution control device or system, which alters or modifies the original design or performance of any such motor vehicle, pollution control device or system." The product is simply a fuel generator that makes a combustible vapor from the constituent components of water that results in a fuel additive, Hydrogen and Oxygen.

I keep hearing Hydrogen Fuel production is a scam. Is this true?

Many sites out there that offer affiliate memberships, sell plans or kits, or who want you to push their designs or products for a kick-back may be just that - a scam. While you can make hydrogen in a jar, it's simply not enough to run a vehicle effectively. Also, do you really want a "glass" jar under your hood? This is why we manufacture our hydrogen generators out of heavy duty material will all safety aspects in mind. We've benchmarked our findings, and have testimonials of many satisfied clients to prove our systems work. Many of the scam companies don't run their own cars on their systems, we actually do, and since you'll actually come to us for a demo or install, you can see that our truck incorporates our very own system. One of the worst reviews on HHO that we've seen was one in Popular Mechanics magazine. They made a very poor attempt at building fuel cells with flimsy plastic bottles, and it was by far the most pathetic attempt by so-called "pros" that we've seen. If you want to try building a generator yourself, buy better parts than the garbage they sell online. No one should be charging you a lot of money for a few glass mason jars, some wire and a bag of baking soda!

What about all these "Green" alternative fuel cars and kits?

There are HHO, hydrogen kits, then there are vehicles built with hydrogen engines. There are Hybrids like the Prius, there are car kits which basically convert your regular vehicle to diesel so that it run on vegetable oil. Do they work? Yes. Are they practical for you and me? Not really. Where are you going to get a steady supply of vegetable oil in the city, where do you store it, what if you want to sell your car? All these questions come into play. If you're not a "mechanical" person, you really don't want to mess with your already perfectly good vehicle. Take a look at some of the kits for "Grease Cars". You're basically re-building how your car works, which is daunting and time-consuming!

Prius and hybrids? Celebrities drive them because they can afford to! While they get great mileage, most middle-class Americans cannot justify spending $30,000 on a car...and cars still depreciate. We asked one of our mechanic friends about working on a Prius, and he says in most cases, the hybrid owner has to rely on the dealership for repairs. The automotive world has trained its professionals on one way, and it'll take long while for every shop to re-educate mechanics on the new types of engines.

Fossil fuels vs Hybrids, Electric, Grease and Hydrogen engines?

The real truth is, it's going to take America a long time to stop relying on fossil fuels. The focus of our company is to take baby steps in that direction, and to make it possible for the regular working class person to partially convert to HHO (Hydrogen) with the car they already own.

Going "Green" sadly costs a lot of money, which is why only the rich can afford the Prius and similar hybrids. Add to that dilemma, a newer car costs more to insure, and still depreciates the second it leaves the lot.

Our system makes your car run cleaner, run more efficiently, yet doesn't alter your car to the point that your basic mechanic can't do routine maintenance. Our older cars save us thousands on insurance, they're paid off, so why risk ruining the car? Why drop $30K into a hybrid when you can keep your reliable old ride going strong? Let's put it this way...if your Prius or hybrid car gets stuck in the middle of the desert in Arizona, is the guy at the small town service station going to know how to fix it or even have parts for it? Nope. So until everyone catches up with the "Green" trend, it's still more practical to keep your car the way it is, and only add modifications that don't interfere with it's function or re-sale value.
